Why do I need BodyTalk?
We all experience stress, be it in the mind, body, or spirit.  In fact,  it's the number one cause of disease in the world because it causes the natural communications lines in the body to break down.  When the body forgets how to communicate with itself, injury and illness occur.

Healing
The body is designed to heal and grow - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Coordination
If all our parts are communicating and the brain can co-ordinate everything, we heal and grow.

Breakdowns
When there is a communication breakdown, the body will adapt, but will also become less efficient.  The parts forget how to work as a team and start segmenting themselves.

Symptoms
A symptom is the last stage of imbalance - the body is calling out for help - it needs to be heard.

Stress
All types of stress (physical, emotional, environmental, etc.) cause breakdowns in the body's already busy lines of communication.

How does BodyTalk work?
In a BodyTalk session, a practitioner asks questions of the client's body to find out what area is a priority to address.  A light tapping technique is used to help the brain balance and restore communication within the body.

Asking the body
BodyTalk asks the body which parts need better communicaiton and harmony.

Prioritizing
In BodyTalk, we respect the order of factors to be addressed, as determined by the body's innate wisdom.

Gentle tapping
Head:  Tapping on the head tells the brain to be mindful and repair the communication.
Heart:  Tapping on the heart helps the body remember this dialogue.

Integration
Once the body has been reminded of the issue, it can initiate its own healing processes.  Your body knows how to heal itself.  It just needs to remember how.

or the reasons why you can't."
