Managing Your Energetic Space
We all have a protective, energetic bubble around us. This bubble is created by our chakras - the energy that chakras generate emits an energetic field, most commonly known as an aura. Sometimes our aura can be very large and spread out to encompass an entire room or city! Or sometimes our aura can be very close to our physical bodies, whereas the energy within does not move as well and can lead to energetic stagnation. Having our aura too big can lead to too much energy moving through it (other people's energy), therefore, healing lots of people with our own energy and not even realizing it. This can lead to feeling tired, irritable or just not yourself.
So how do you manage your space so you can have more energy, be centered and peaceful? Protect yourself with roses! Set the intention to have your aura bubble about arm's length from your physical body. On the outisde of your bubble imagine a rose in front of you. (Roses are very easy to imagine. However, I have had students use another type of flower that they like better to use as their protection.) I use six roses around me - front, back, left, right above my head and below me - but you can use more if you wish. Though the point is not about creating a wall of protection because then you are more apt to be coming from a place of fear. If you have a wall up, you cannot experience everything that life has to offer and others also cannot fully experience everything you have to give.
This is a very easy, effective technique to manage your space and your energy. Try it out and see what happens and what you notice! Remember your grounding too! |
